Calls for uprising against govt gets louder, July 6 date set for national protest

The calls for an uprising against the ruling Zanu PF government following its policy to restrict the importation of some goods from South Africa and other neighbouring countries is now getting louder with the informal traders being the most instigators as they complain that their source of livelihood was being curtailed by such a policy.

An informal trader who spoke on condition of anonymity said Zimbabweans its time to wake up.
"Lets rise and save our beloved Zimbabwe. Our Government no longer cares for us," he said. In the country there are not jobs but we try to eke a living through selling and they are blocking our all efforts to get money.

They have banned the importation of goods wanting us to buy the local expensive goods." He said there is no money in the country and the government is failing to pay  Civil servants. "People were surviving through buying and selling goods and they are now denying us that," he said.

"Which industries are they protecting? Let the industry compete with imports  until it produces cheap  affordable goods and we will decide what to buy. People were surviving through cross border  and how do you think they will survive with their families.

Stop telling us about import Licences because we know they will be given to (Vice President Phelekezela ) Mphoko, (Minister Saviour)  Kasukuwere,  Minister Obert Mpofu and other Ministers."
The trader said police officers are plenty on the roads stealing from people and people arr just arrested for spare wheels, fire extinguisher, for what?

"If the car gets burnt there is no problem its mine," he said. "And 95% of  motorists don't even know how to operate that thing, You are just burdening car with useless things. We want the Government to Lift up the Ban on Imports  and to Remove or Reduce  the Zimbabwe Roadblock Police (ZRP) from our roads and to remove Spot fines until we have money  as a matter urgency before Wednesday 6 July 2016," he said. "

Zimbabweans don't go to work as from 6 July  until they sort out things. Burn every  Shop, Service Station or any Business that will open its Doors for trading. Block all roads with whatever you can. Block all traffic and if they resist Burn the Cars.

No Cars on the Road by 6 July. If anyone resist go and burn their homes or car parks at night. If you see any one beaten by police look for the police officer and beat him or her up. He said who so ever is beaten by police they must look for the police officer's home and beat him up at his home.

"ZRP Just let us do the Demo in Peace and we will leave you in Peace  as well. We can not let South Africans fight for us while we sit. July 6  let it break out through out the country, start mobilizing support," he said.
